H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, issued decision No. 18, establishing Abu Dhabi Weightlifting club on October 28, 2021. On November 21, 2021, a decision was issued by the General Authority of Sports, announcing the Club with its headquarters in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and entitled to open other branches in all emirates of the state.
